Glad to see you’re writing about butterflies again! My butterfly garden is in full bloom; just waiting for the Monarchs to find it again.
I wish the Monarch caterpillar’s bright colors scared away wasps. I think many of my caterpillars fall victim to wasps!

Insect A : Moth
I think that insect A is a moth because a moth often looks like a dead leaf to disguise itself. Also they have duller colors than a butterfly such as browns, blacks and dark yellows.
Insect B :Butterfly
They have larger wings than moths. Also butterflies have lots of brighter wing colors, also butterflies often rest on bushes or plants to suck out nectar.

Insect A is a moth because it has thicker than a butterfly, also most moths are dull colors. Insect B is a butterfly because butterfly’s have thinner than moths, also most butterfly’s are more colorful than moths.
P.S I am you biggest fan!

Insect A: a moth
1) The antennae are feathery
2) Wings are flat and horizontal
3) Background looks dark, not including flash, and moths are nocturnal
Insect B: a butterfly
1) The antennae are club like and had a swollen tip.
2) Wings are vertical; erect
3) background is bright, and butterflies are awake in the day.

A is the moth. I know because the wings lay flat and have a dull color. B is a butterfly because the wings stand up, and even from a sideways view you can tell the color is brighter.

I think sample a is the moth because its wings and its less cloerfull I think sample b is the butter fly because its more collerfull and its more commen for a butterfly to black than a moth to be black. I hope you pick me
