Thank you for the posting. I will try and buy this book with my allowance or check out the library. It looks really interesting. I love the desert and the animals there, especially the desert tortoise. smile We were just in Palm Springs. I love to go there because we can go hiking or camping in the beautiful desert.  I haven’t been to the San Jacinto Mountains yet, but it is so cool because they are in the desert, yet they still get snow every year. ???? So weird. That is why I love California.
